Technical Officer – Department of Computing (Ref: TO (RGC/IDS14/16) 2018-03-23)
Responsibilities |

• assist in software development and maintenance in support of the Research Project.
Applicants Should |

• possess a relevant bachelor’s degree or above in IT, Computer Science or relevant discipline with at least 6 years of relevant experience;
- have extensive experience with at least one programming language, e.g., Java, Python, or C++;
- have relevant experience in most of the following areas:
- building responsive UI;
- programming, software development and maintenance;
- tender preparation and evaluation;
- preferred skills with innovative techniques, such as cloud computing, big data analytics, and Deep Learning technologies (if not, opportunity will be provided to learn);
- have good experience in planning, security, project management and documentation;
- be mature, self-motivated, able to work independently and willing to work on shift;
- have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; and
- have a customer-oriented mindset with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Assistant Technical Officer.
